I am all these things plus one

I am a wife and a mother. A daughter and a sister. I am a daughter-in-law. I am an aunt and a niece. A cousin and a friend. An HR Manager and a Mary Kay consultant. I am the most experienced bridesmaid. I was the head of my youth group at Church. I am an MBA graduate. I am a not so great dancer. I am a fan of white wine. I am a boardwalk fan. I am a Disney world frequenter. I am not the best patient. I am the one who helps everyone who needs it. I am a frequent parkway driver. I am a fan of country music. I am a roman catholic. I am a brunette with grey that I typically cover up. I am a blackberry junkie. I am a picture junkie. I am my own worst critic. I am blessed with the most unbelievable network of family and friends. I am a woman of faith. I am not a good passenger in the car because I get car sick. I am a minivan driver (but it looks like a cross-over). I am strong when I have to be. I am a borderline insomniac. I am an allergy-sufferer. I am one who loves to laugh. I am a total wimp with regards to heights. I am a Jersey girl, with an honorary Pennsylvania girl membership. I am a Delta Zeta Alum. I am a TCNJ and FDU alum. I am a klutz. I am not the best house keeper. I am a fan of the smell of sunblock, cigars, coconut and roses. I am sleepy. I am a talker. I am a bit of a scatter brain. I am proud of myself.

And I am one more thing. I am a breast cancer patient. And in the future, I will be a Breast Cancer survivor.

Well, guess what. In real life ... I am yours. (OK ... Maybe I am your third biggest fan behind your Stevens. I'll take that.) ;o) Only one thing to do now. KICK THIS THING'S ASS!!! I know you will. 10. Nicole, remember attitude is everything and you are on the right track with the positive attitude. Remember you have cancer but cancer doesn't have you. You will be rid of this with your strength and perseverance and then you will come to the other side with me and be called "survivor". We are now bonded as sisters in new normal that we can understand. One day at a time is all you can do, don't worry about tomorrow. Whatever your need call me.....:)

  11. Hi Nicole,
We met briefly at Courtney's bachelorette party, shared a cab ride, a few drinks, and now this.. I too am a breast cancer patient/ survivor, diagnosed at 31yrs in 2006. After chemo/ radiation/ surgeries, I feel back to normal again.. Your fight is just beginning and the road (full of unknowns, dr visits, treatments, endless questions, search for answers, thoughts and thoughts of why me)... it will be bumpy, however stay strong, be positive, be vigilant... you can beat this. Just take it one day at a time. With modern advances in treatment, you WILL beat this.

Courtney has my number and email, please call me or email me... anytime.
    Stay Strong, Lilia :-)
